ACCEPTANCE OF GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The use of travelcraft.gr website and the offered services are governed by the following General Terms and Conditions.

General Terms and Conditions of travelcraft.gr apply to all reservation commands given by the user either through the web portal of travelcraft.gr, through our call centre agents or directly to our offices.

By making – completing a reservation or purchasing a product or service through our website, the user unconditionally accepts the General Terms and Conditions.

Travelcraft.gr is exclusively a travel services intermediary (including flight tickets, ferry tickets, hotel bookings, car rentals, yacht chartering etc) between the client and various providers for each product. The
responsibility of travelcraft.gr is exclusively limited to providing this service. The compliance of contracts made by travelcraft.gr is exclusively binding for the actual provider. The user should consult the general trading terms of the organizers/providers thereof.

OPENING HOURS

Customers may contact our call centre and visit The Travel Craft offices during its working hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 09:00 to 15:00 & 17:00 to 20:00 (except for national holidays)
  • Saturday: 09:00 to 14:00

In case the instruction for the amendment of a booking or service (such as cancellation or change of tickets) is submitted out of working hours, Travelcraft.gr will consequently consider the next working day as the processing date.

BOOKING PROCEDURE

Before making a reservation, it is mandatory for the user to carefully read, understand and accept the fares’ terms and conditions. Travelcraft.gr is always at your disposal for clarifications on any term of the booking procedure. After completing a reservation, the user alone takes full responsibility.

By filling in the special reservation form available on our website and completing a booking either through our portal, our call center or our offices, the user gives strict instructions to travelcraft.gr to intermediate a provided travel service, offered by the actual provider, or any other service. By confirming a reservation the user is bound in any case.

In case of short-term changes of any booked service or product by the provider such as flight delay or cancellation, change of car type etc), travelcraft.gr will try to contact you by phone or e-mail to inform you about these changes provided that travelcraft.gr was notified by the provider well in advance. However, travelcraft.gr does not hold any responsibility for changes, delays or cancellations of flights or other travel products and services provided by other providers.

The user is liable to follow the terms and conditions set by each provider such as an airline’s restrictions regarding the check-in time. The user is informed about such conditions by the provider.

It is very important that the name of the passenger on his ID card or passport must be EXACTLY (to the letter) the same as the name stated on your ticket. After completing a reservation only the provider can amend the error. Travelcraft.gr does not hold any responsibility whatsoever. Each ticket is strictly personal and it is not transferable.

Travelcraft.gr has the right to reject any booking command received by the user should it violate against the terms and conditions stated on the website.

Passengers entitled to discounted fares are kindly requested to state it at the time of booking and carry with them all the necessary proof documents during the tickets issue as well as the check-in procedure.

PRICES

The service fee of travelcraft.gr as an intermediate is always included in the total price of each provided service or product.

Travelcraft.gr is informed of the current prices of travel products and services by each provider. Travelcraft.gr is not liable for any price changes made by providers.

Travelcraft.gr is not liable for any fees or charges which might be imposed by any provider in the case of cancellations of travels or services. These charges must be covered by the user to full extent. 

The purchase of tickets from low-cost airlines usually covers the basic fare of the transportation only. Luggage is usually not included in the total price. The carrying of luggage can be requested along with the flight reservation procedure for an additional cost defined by each airline. If the customer decides (after having completed booking) to carry additional luggage, travelcraft.gr will consequently impose a 5€ surcharge per baggage, in addition to the charges imposed by the airline.

PRICES FOR RESERVATIONS VIA CALL CENTRE OR TRAVEL CRAFT OFFICES

Travelcraft.gr charges a 5€ service fee on top of each flight ticket fare booked either via our call centre or our offices.

BOOKING CONFIRMATION, DELIVERY OF TRAVEL DOCUMENTS (TICKETS & VOUCHERS)

After completing a reservation through the travelcraft.gr website, the user will receive a booking confirmation via e-mail either from travelcraft.gr or directly from the provider himself.

The user is responsible to IMMEDIATELY check the accuracy of the confirmation details (such as name, date of departure, destination, etc.) and to inform travelcraft.gr in case of any errors which might have occurred during the registration procedure. Any errors (this apply to all services except ferry tickets and specific exemptions) reported by the user more than 24 hours after the booking registration procedure (during working hours) will not be taken into consideration. For ferry tickets, the timeframe for error reports is 10 minutes after the booking confirmation. In any case, even if the user gave notice of the error in time, additional charges might incur for the error amendment. Many providers, on special offer tickets, and especially low-cost airlines do not proceed to any error amendment after the registration of the booking by the user. The overdue report of errors or the inability to correct them will not result in right of withdrawal from the agreement.

The airline tickets are sent to the user as electronic tickets (e-ticket) via electronic mail (e-mail). This e-mail contains your booking reference number and it is mandatory to print it out before going to the airport for check-in. Your reservation and your ticket are registered in the airline’s system. Make sure that the user name registered in the airline’s booking system is identical to the one on your ID card.

The ferry tickets, domestic or international, are sent to the customer via courier service with the respective charge. The tickets can be collected at our offices during working hours or at the kiosk of the ferry company at the port of your departure (usually situated at the gate of departure). In this case, the customer will receive the reservation code via telephone or e-mail.

Travelcraft.gr does not hold any responsibility for the loss of tickets and travel documents sent by post.

In case you lose your ferry ticket, it is mandatory to issue a new one in order to travel. The cost of the new ferry ticket is paid by the customer. Before the departure date, the user must sent a
written notification containing the date, the itinerary, the number of the lost ticket as well as the number and a photocopy of the new one. If the lost ticket does not show up in a period of time set by each company’s policy, the user is entitled to a full or partial reimbursement of the ticket fare or to reissue the ticket free of charge.

In case of reservations concerning car rentals or hotels the user receives a simple e-mail with the voucher and the reservation code. For the rest of the services, all relevant documents will be sent via e-mail (e.g. Insurance policies, Charter-parties etc).

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS (PASSPORTS, VISAS, CURRENCY,
HEALTH REGULATIONS, ETC)

Travelcraft.gr does not hold any responsibility for the travel documents (passports, visas, etc) required for a passenger to travel.

The passenger bears the responsibility to ensure that all necessary travel documents are in place.

If the user is travelling abroad, he/she should comply with all the relevant regulations on passports, visas, customs, taxes, regulations for imports and exports of goods as well as health conditions. The user bears the responsibility of complying himself to the aforementioned regulations. Travelcraft.gr provides some general information on its website related to the user (Timatic), but in no case travelcraft.gr is responsible for the validity and completeness of all provided information. For reliable information the customer should contact the provider of the travel or the consulate of the country to be visited.

For domestic travels (either by plane of ferry) it is mandatory for the passenger to present an ID card or passport.

PAYMENT METHODS

For the reservation of a flight ticket through our website, you can pay either online or via our call centre charging your credit card during working hours, or by depositing the fare in any of the following company bank accounts:

Moreover, you can always visit our offices and make your payment either by credit card, debit card or cash.

The payment methods are listed on travelcraft.gr website at the reservation procedure.

For making a reservation with a low cost airline (e.g. Ryanair), the only acceptable method of payment is by credit card.

In case of reservations concerning hotel bookings, car rentals, transfers or yachts through our website, the only acceptable method of payment is by credit card.

For the reservation of a ferry ticket through our website, the only acceptable method of payment is by credit card. If you choose to make your reservation through our call centre you have the option either to deposit the fare in any of the aforementioned bank accounts, to pay cash at our offices, or to charge your credit or debit card.

Charging of someone else’s credit card is not an acceptable method of payment.

Before the payment process has been finalized, travelcraft.gr has no obligation to provide any tickets or other travel documents to the user.

Travelcraft.gr may request any additional documents or proof of payment from the user such as a home address, a copy of the credit card or a bank deposit receipt before
issuing tickets.

We accept VISA, VISA ELECTRON, MASTERCARD.

REJECTION OF RESERVATION

Travelcraft.gr has the right to reject any booking command of the user should it violate the terms and conditions stated on the website.

If during a transaction either travelcraft.gr or any of the cooperating banks notice that the user attempts to abuse the services provided by this website, travelcraft.gr will have the right to cancel the booking.

CANCELLATIONS AND CHANGES

The option to change or cancel a flight or ferry ticket, a travel or a different product or service as well as the terms and conditions that rule such a change or cancellation, is subject to the terms and conditions set by each single provider and travelcraft.gr is in no position to alter them.

The cost that may arise by changing or cancelling a travel service, defined by the terms and conditions of each provider is exclusively payable by the user.

Before making a reservation, it is mandatory for the user to carefully read, understand and accept the fares’ terms and conditions. Travelcraft.gr is always at your disposal for clarifications on any term of the booking procedure. After completing a reservation, the user alone takes full responsibility.

In case the provider gives the user the option to cancel or change a product or service, the user who wishes to make any changes or cancellations is responsible to inform travelcraft.gr in writing otherwise travelcraft.gr can not proceed to the alteration of cancellation of the reservation.

Flight Tickets:

In case of change or cancellation of a travel due to a provider’s failure, travelcraft.gr will change or cancel the reservation free of charge, provided that the provider has consented.

The option to change or cancel a ticket or a different product or service provided by travelcraft.gr is subject to the terms and conditions set by each provider.

Except from the terms and conditions that rule a fare or an airline company, the service fee of travelcraft.gr apply as stated below: 

• Change / reissuing of domestic or international flight ticket: 10€ per ticket

• Cancellation of domestic or international flight ticket: 10€ per ticket

In case a customer buys either a round trip ticket or a multiple destination ticket and does not wishes to fly the booked itineraries sequentially, he must contact travelcraft.gr to be informed whether this is feasible since each airline has its policy on the issue. If the passenger is considered non show from the airline on the first itinerary of his trip, the airline might cancel the rest of his itineraries as well. In some cases, the use of the remaining itineraries might be permitted with additional charge.

The refund due to cancellations is processed exclusively by travelcraft.gr only after the airline company itself has proceeded with the refund to travelcraft.gr. The refund process depends on the refund process of each provider.

Ferry Tickets:

The option to cancel or change either to another date or to an open date of a ferry ticket is subject to the terms and conditions set by each single provider and travelcraft.gr is in no position to
alter them.

In case of cancellation or change of a ferry ticket either to another or to an open date, it is mandatory that the user returns the ticket either to travelcraft.gr offices, to the relevant provider’s
offices or to the port representative of the provider in order to proceed with the cancellation or the change to another or an open date. In any other case, travelcraft.gr or the provider can not proceed with the cancellation or the alteration of a ticket.

The refund due to cancellations is processed exclusively from travelcraft.gr only after the provider itself has proceeded with the refund to travelcraft.gr.

Open date tickets usually are valid for a specific period of time set by the provider (ferry line) and are subject to its terms and conditions. Therefore, before changing a ticket to an open date one, we strongly advise the user to contact travelcraft.gr in order to find out more about the terms and conditions and the timeframe he can use his open date ticket. The user can replace an open date ticket with a fixed date ticket of the
same or higher price only for itineraries operated by the same company and by paying the difference.

In case of cancellation due to provider’s failure or bad weather conditions, there is no cancellation fee and the user get refunded in full either at his credit card, his bank account or in cash depending the method of payment he / she preferred when buying the tickets.

Cancellation policy of ferry lines:

  • Up to 14 days before departure date: 100% refund on ticket value or change to new / open date.
  • Up to 7 days before departure date: 75% refund on ticket value or change to new / open date.
  • Up to 24 hours before departure date: 50% refund on ticket value or change to new / open date.
  • Up to 24 hours before departure date: 0% refund of the fare.

Attention! Tickets described by the ferry lines as special offer or special date tickets (e.g. Easter time, Pentecost and other national holidays) can not be cancelled, changed to another date or replaced with open date tickets.

Cancellations made in less than 24 hours before departure are NOT entitled to a refund.

After departure: Tickets can not be cancelled, changed to another date or replaced with open date tickets.

The aforementioned cancellation times follow the travelcraft.gr working hours. For out of business hours cancellations, times are set by the last working day of travelcraft.gr.

Other Services:

The option to change or cancel hotel reservations, car rentals, transfers, yacht chartering or any other service, the user is responsible to get informed on the cancellation policies before taking any action.

The travelcraft.gr service fee included in all purchases is non-refundable in case of cancellation.

In the case of cancellation due to provider’s failure, there are no cancellation charges and travelcraft.gr does not impose further service fee.

The refund due to cancellations is processed exclusively from travelcraft.gr only after the provider itself has proceeded with the refund to travelcraft.gr.

DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY

Travelcraft.gr bears no responsibility:

  • In the case a product or service is unavailable
  • For errors, omissions, violations or denial of any provider
  • For injury, death, property damage or other losses that may arise due to a cause related to services offered by the provider
  • For delays, cancellations, overbooking, strikes or any other reason beyond its control
  • For the privacy policy regarding personal data of third parties’ websites
  • For the information provided by each provider on the offered services

USER RESPONSIBILITY

By using this website, the user ensures that he/she is at least 18 years old and take responsibility for any use of the website by minors on his/her behalf.

The user is obliged to use the website in accordance with the law and the present terms and conditions.

Any reservation booked for profit or misleading purposes, or aiming to cause malfunction to the service provided by travelcraft.gr, is prohibited.

The abuse of the present website will result in the exemption of the user from accessing the services provided by travelcraft.gr.

COPYRIGHT, TRADEMARKS

The content of this website belong to the travelcraft.gr , its associates and providers.

Any copy, distribution, transfer, transformation, resale, creation of derivative work or deception to the public concerning the actual website content provider is forbidden.

The trademark is registered to Travel Craft and its owners. Other logos, names or products contained in travelcraft.gr might be copyrighted to third natural or legal persons.

AMENDMENT AND RENEWAL OF GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Travelcraft.gr reserves the right to amend or to renew the above terms and conditions related to the use of this website at any time, without being obligated to inform the user.

APPLICABLE LAW

Relations between the users of website and travelcraft.gr are explicitly bonded by the Greek Law, excluding rules of private international law. 
The courts of Piraeus are responsible for resolving any disputes between the parties.
